- What is coaching? Definitions and distinctions
- The mindset of a coach: curiosity, trust, and non-directiveness
2. Core Coaching Skills (60–90 mins)
- Active Listening: Levels of listening and presence
- Powerful Questions: Open-ended, forward-focused, and reflective
- Feedback & Challenge: Balancing support with stretch
Activity: Paired listening and questioning practice with feedback
3. Coaching Framework in Action (60–90 mins)
- Introduction to the GROW or CLEAR model
- Demonstration of a coaching conversation
- Practice in triads (coach, coachee, observer) with real scenarios
Debrief: What worked, what felt challenging, what to refine
4. Embedding Coaching in Leadership (30–60 mins)
- When to coach vs. when to direct
- Coaching as a leadership habit
- Building a coaching culture in teams
Reflection: Personal action plan – “How will I apply this next week?”
